Senior Solution Engineer

Responsibilities 
An essential element of the Senior Sales Engineer role will be to learn our product inside and out, and deliver use case relevant demos, with a personalized story telling approach focused on the value our solution provides each customers. Other duties will include:

  • Align with your Sales team to present the optimal technical solution overview and partner with your rep from the discovery phase through a proof-of-concept (POC) to ensure we are poised to win
  • Align with our Professional Services team to understand our service offerings which enable customers with optimized implementation and process improvements 
  • Lead our customers with insights regarding their approach to data protection and the cyber industry landscape
  • Maintain and grow competitive landscape analysis documentation
  • Own and drive relationships with external technical audiences of all kinds to understand business objectives and translate requirements into solutions.
  • Develop strategy for showcasing Keyavi’s technology via compelling demonstrations and POCs
  • Own technical discovery in partnership with sales partner’s business needs discovery
  • Manage technical POC process with clients
  • Provide technical and development assistance to Development team for scoping of customer’s needs
  • Act as the technical liaison between Sales & Development

Education Or Experience

  • BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a cyber security technical role
  • 5 + years of previous experience in sales engineering or other technical influencer role 
  • Experience with DRM, DLP, and other data protection solutions is preferred  
  • Experience in gathering requirements and providing guidance for integrating RESTful APIs into web applications a strong plus

  • Desire to further career in an SE role and/or transition from development or technical capacity to SE
  • Subject matter expertise in the current technology landscape, data protection, and threats and trends
  • Strong critical thinking skills, ability to adapt to unique customer questions, use cases, and technical environments
  • Ability to understand detailed technical requirements and environments, align with our product and service offering, and translate into concise presentations and discussions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Presentation / technical demonstration experience; storyteller preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Computer proficiency and the ability to accurately present material 
  • Insatiable appetite for learning; technical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment and multitask
  • Ability to build a strong rapport with prospects and customers, from executives and managers to support staff
  • Self-motivated; proactive in thought and planning. Eagerly assumes responsibility for things that need to be done, including following up with prospects and team members on outstanding items
